When I’m Not Writing

Running
If you can’t find me, there’s a 92.6% chance I’m either getting a cup of coffee or on a run. Running has been one of my favorite hobbies since my mid-twenties. Whether it be a short jog on a beautiful trail or a
marathon through Disney World, count me in. Just don’t ask me what I think of it at mile 18, you might
get cursed at.

Despite my husband’s eye rolling, my favorite races are themed. I have more tutus, holiday compression socks, and themed race shirts than I’m willing to admit.

Exploring New Activities

There’s nothing I love more than trying something new. Be it a new hiking trail, restaurant, or activity. One of my more recent adventures involved a surfing lesson with a friend. I’d love to say that I killed it out there, but I spent more time under than water than on top of it. Still, I had a blast.

Knitting
This has been a more recent hobby of mine. Inspired by a few exceedingly creative friends, I
decided to try my hand at knitting at the end of 2021. I’ll be the first to admit I’m awful at it.

But I get enjoyment from it, so I occasionally pick it up and work on the blanket I’ll probably
never finish. Once I make something worth sharing, you’ll be the first to see it.

What I’m currently reading

My favorite authors span so many genres it’s hard to keep track. But if it has romance? Count me in. Lately I’ve been getting back into young adult books. Currently I’m reading Breakup from Hell by Ann Davila Cardinal. I’m halfway through and having a hard time putting it down.
